Havana, January 7 (RHC)-- Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez is heading the Cuban delegation to the installation ceremony of the pro tempore presidency of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC), in the Mexican capital taking place this Wednesday.
During the event, the Cuban Foreign Minister will reaffirm the island's commitment to the process of a good Latin American and Caribbean integration, and to the consolidation of Latin America and the Caribbean as a Zone of Peace, proclaimed at the II CELAC Summit held in Havana in 2014.
Rodríguez will also confirm the willingness to support Mexico's management at the helm of the regional mechanism for political coordination and integration, which brings together the 33 States of our America in a common purpose.
The Cuban delegation also includes Anayansi Rodríguez, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Coordinator of CELAC; Pedro Núñez Mosquera, Cuban Ambassador to Mexico, as well as other directors and officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
