Havana, February 7 (RHC)-- A new major, that of Engineering in Cybersecurity, will begin to be taught next September at the University of Computer Sciences of Havana, representatives of that university announced at a press conference on Thursday.
The career will train professionals committed to safeguarding information and communication technologies in the process of computerizing Cuban society, the Cuban News Agency reports.
The new engineers will have as their professional objective the management of the cybersecurity of organizations or entities, based on the implementation and improvement of the necessary measures to preserve confidentiality.
