Havana, April 18 (RHC)-- Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez says that about 1,200 Cuban health professionals have joined the battle against COVID-19 around the globe.
Writing on his Twitter account, the top Cuban diplomat notes that, in times of the coronavirus pandemic, 21 medical brigades have taken Cuban solidarity to Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Latin America and the Caribbean.
Earlier this week, the Foreign Ministry stated that Cuba has responded to medical assistance requests without evaluating political differences or economic advantages.
Cuban medical workers have joined the local efforts of 20 countries, which add to or reinforce the health brigades present in 60 nations.
