Havana, April 19 (RHC)-- Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez says that Cuba has a government committed to the welfare of its people.  Writing on his official Twitter account, the top Cuban diplomat stressed that both the island's public health system and its scientific community are dedicated to the benefit of society, which is demonstrated in the current context of the fight against COVID-19.

Bruno Rodriguez pointed to everyone's contribution to this common struggle, which is reflected in the social distancing and citizen responsibility that are essential to stop the spread of the disease.

The Caribbean nation is facing the pandemic through a set of coordinated actions within a Prevention and Control Plan that is reviewed daily at the highest governmental levels.
