Organizations from all over the world salute meeting of Cuban communists

Havana, April 19 (RHC)--Political organizations and movements of the world expressed their support to the Cuban revolutionary process and sent their wishes of success to the 8th Congress of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC).

The Popular Vanguard Party (PVP) and the Costa Rican Vanguard Youth (JVC) of Costa Rica saluted the Cuban people on the occasion.

The Costa Rican communists recognize the strategic importance for the destiny of Cuba, the guarantee of the continuity of the revolutionary process, and the irreversibility of socialism, we are sure that the results of the 8th Congress will cement them with greater strength, thanks to the indissoluble unity of its people, the message points out.

In a message, the Sinn Fein Party of Ireland emphasized the transcendence of this political meeting that takes place when the island celebrates the 60th anniversary of the proclamation of the socialist character of the Revolution.

The determination of the Cuban people to shape a new society has been an inspiration for freedom-loving people all over the world, and especially for all progressives here in Ireland', the text says.

For its part, the Gambia-Cuba Friendship Association supported the island 'in all its endeavors aimed at improving the lives of its inhabitants and the world'.

The message assures that Gambia and Africa will maintain their solidarity 'in eternal gratitude for what the Caribbean country has done and is doing for this continent in the fields of education, medicine and sports, and previously in the struggle for liberation from colonialism'.

According to the Cuban Foreign Ministry, more than 80 messages from political and social organizations of the world are celebrating the 8th Congress of the PCC, which concludes this Monday in Havana.
