Havana, September 24 (RHC)-- Cuba's Public Health Ministry reported the process of vaccination schedules in the country as part of the mass immunization campaign against Covid-19.

The health authorities specify that all people who have been confirmed with the disease by positive PCR, will be vaccinated as convalescents from two months after the epidemiological discharge.

On the other hand, those who have had mild symptoms, with negative or positive antigen test, but who were not confirmed with PCR, will be administered the full schedule, including children, within 15 days after the disappearance of symptoms.

Patients who have received one, two or all three doses of the vaccines, if they subsequently became ill with Covid-19, should wait two months and will be administered Soberana Plus as convalescents.

People who have interrupted the vaccination schedule for some reason can resume their treatment by following these terms:

-Abdala vaccine: up to 12 days after the date on which the second dose corresponded, that is, up to 26 days after the first dose. Between the second and the third dose according to the scheme with 14 days elapse.

-Soberana02 vaccine: Up to 28 days after the date on which the second dose was due. For example, up to 56 days after the first dose. Between the second and third dose (Soberana Plus) according to the scheme, and up to three months may elapse.

Outside these terms, the scheme is lost and the three doses of the immunogen must be applied. (Source: ACN)
