Havana, September 7 (RHC). The Council of State announced Tuesday that municipal polls to elect for a five-year term delegates to the Municipal Assemblies of People's Power will be held on November 27.

In those constituencies where none of the candidates obtains more than 50% of the valid votes, run-off elections will be heldDecember 4.

The Council of State, per the provisions of the Constitution of the Republic and Law No. 127 Electoral Law of July 13, 2019, agreed to summon the voters of the Republic to municipal elections.

The Parliament's website published the statement with the announcement on Tuesday.

The National Electoral Council, once the elections are over, will inform the population of their results, the note added.
