Brussels, Oct 27 (RHC) A delegation of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP) headed by its first vice-president, Noemi Rabaza, began Wednesday in Belgium a program of exchange of experiences with organizations and personalities in solidarity with the Caribbean nation.

Rabaza and ICAP Europe director, Rigoberto Zarza, arrived on Tuesday in Brussels. In the afternoon they met with Ambassador Yaira Jimenez and participated in an act of denunciation and condemnation of the economic, commercial, and financial blockade imposed by the United States on the Antillean nation.

Summoned by the Belgian Coordinating Committee for the End of the Blockade against Cuba, solidarity associations, trade unions, and Cuban and Latin American residents confirmed their attendance at the mobilization in the vicinity of the Brussels Central Station.

During their stay, the ICAP senior officials will hold meetings with very active organizations in supporting the island and rejecting Washington's blockade, among them Cubanismo.be and Los Amigos de Cuba.   They will also talk with MEP Javier Moreno, president of the Cuba Friendship Group in the European Parliament, and with the Latin American Coordinating Committee for Solidarity.

The ICAP delegation will travel to Italy over the weekend.
