President Díaz-Canel praises phone conversation with Vladimir Putin

Havana, Dec 28 (RHC) On Wednesday, Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel praised a phone conversation with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin and described it as brotherly, both leaders discussed the excellent results of Díaz-Canel´s recent official visit to Russia.

On Twitter, the Cuban leader said both sides reaffirmed a common willingness to strengthen political talks as well as economic, commercial, financial, and cooperation relations.

The Russian government, on the other hand, released a note adding that both presidents agreed to intensify contacts at various levels.

In November, Díaz-Canel and a huge Cuban delegation paid a visit to Moscow to conduct a sweeping work agenda that included high-level meetings and the opening of a monument in honor of the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution Fidel Castro. (Source: Prensa Latina)
