Bucharest, Feb 9 (RHC) The group exhibition 6+1, by several Cuban artists, has been on display since Wednesday at the Romanian University of Transylvania headquarters, a mythical medieval region.

The restored Brasov building, which houses the exhibition, dates back to the 19th century and was built in the city of the same name. The exhibition includes works by painters Eduardo Abela, Juan Brower, Yari Delgado, Oscar Jacas, Sándor González, Yasbel Dominguez, and photographer Sonia Almaguer, according to information released by the Cuban diplomatic headquarters here.

The inauguration was attended by the Cuban ambassador to Romania, Deborah Ojeda; Ion Vasile Abrudan, rector of the educational institution; and Adrian Lacatus, director of the Multicultural Center of the House of Higher Studies.

This is the first international exhibition to be shown at the center since its restoration and during the inauguration, the speakers emphasized that art allows people to get to know each other.

Almaguer's work, Eight kilometers of stories, is a vision of Havana's famous Malecon and constitutes an approach to it from the photographer's lens, who focuses her attention on the characters that walk along that promenade that delimits the city from the sea.

Also in attendance were Cuban citizens living in the mythical city, undergraduate students, and university professors from our country who are pursuing doctorates under a government agreement between the two countries (Source: Prensa Latina).
