Havana, Feb 9 (RHC) Cuba's Ambassador to Cyprus, Angel Gustavo Suarez Cordero, and the Minister of Health of that country, Mr. Michalis Hadjipantela signed on Thursday in Nicosia, a Memorandum of Understanding between the two Republics for cooperation in the field of Public Health, Medical Sciences, and pharmaceuticals.

The Cypriot Minister expressed his gratitude for the effort because it allows for closer ties between the two States with a long history of bilateral relations.

He also emphasized that through the signing of the Memorandum, synergies will be created for cooperation in the area of their competence.

For his part, the Cuban diplomat acknowledged the constant work of Mr. Michalis Hadjipantela to strengthen the ties between their countries and peoples. (Source: Cubaminrex)
