Ciego de Avila, Feb 20 (RHC) The parliamentary candidates to the National People's Power Assembly (Parliament) from Moron, in central Cuba, continue their tour to meet with people, students, and economic and social institutions.

In Moron, in Ciego de Avila, Arnaldo Rodriguez, a popular composer, singer, and director of the band El Talisman, and Mayelin Luis, a worker at the Sol Cayo Coco hotel, in the Jardines del Rey tourist resort, were elected parliamentary candidates.

In the last few days, they have visited neighborhoods and communities in transformation, including the people’s councils in El Vaquerito, La Caoba, and Patria, where they learned from residents about the main work being done there to improve the living conditions of inhabitants.

They also toured the Roberto Rodriguez Hospital, La Fuente Restaurant, the Haydee Santamaria House of Culture, the El Vaquerito Military Construction Unit, hotels in the northern keys of Ciego de Avila, and other production and service centers to keep informed about the economic and social development of the territory.
