President of Djibouti congratulates his Cuban counterpart on reelection

Djibouti, April 22 (RHC) The President of Djibouti, Ismail Guelleh, today wished his Cuban counterpart, Miguel Díaz-Canel, success and achievements for his reelection for a second term.

Guelleh affirmed that the Cuban president will know how to convert the renewed confidence into a dynamic to continue his efforts for Cuba’s well-being and development.

"We welcome the increasingly close ties of friendship and cooperation between our two nations," he stressed, while reiterating the willingness of the people and the government of Djibouti to work on strengthening these already privileged ties.

Cuban parliament last Wednesday ratified Díaz-Canel as head of the Government for another five years, as well as his vice president Salvador Valdés. (Source: Prensa Latina)
