Cuban ambassador participated in the centenary of the Azerbaijani leader
Havana, May 8 (RHC) The Cuban ambassador to Azerbaijan, Carlos Valdés, participated in the commemorative acts for the centenary of Azerbaijan’s founding leader, Haydar Aliyev, together with representatives of the diplomatic corps residing in Baku.
Valdés visited the city of Nakhchivan, birthplace of the founding father of modern Azerbaijan, and toured different historical sites related to Aliyev's life.
Those attending the commemorative events were in the museum that bears his name and became acquainted with his work in the early years of his life.
The Cuban ambassador also exchanged opinions with the representative of the president of Azerbaijan in Najichivan, Fuad Najafli, and with the head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration, Hikmat Hajiyev. (Source: Prensa Latina)
