Ibero-American customs directors meet in the Dominican Republic
Havana, May 15 (RHC) The Dominican Republic will host from today the meeting of Ibero-American Customs directors, a space for the identification of common opportunities and challenges.
The meeting, which will take place in the city of Punta Cana, will be attended by some thirty international participants representing 30 countries, who will also be able to share experiences in the modernization of customs systems.
The general director of Customs, Eduardo Sanz, assured that the event will promote public-private alliances, allow the fortification of merchandise transportation and closer relations between the nations present.
In addition to the directors of Customs from America, Spain and Portugal, a commission of private businessmen will attend, who will analyze global trends and share experiences in this matter.
The representatives of the nations will discuss customs procedures, the maximization of the competitiveness of these bodies and the renewal of customs and logistics technological systems. (Source: Prensa Latina)
