Havana, June 17 (RHC)-- As the diplomat commented to Prensa Latina on Saturday, Musayev, along with his work team exchanged during two sessions with the director and deputy director of the Hermanos Ameijeriras Hospital, Miguel Estévez and Emilio Buchaca, respectively.

Valdés pointed out that the Cuban delegation also included Dr. Dalsy Torres, who heads the Calixto García health facility in Havana, and who was the head of the "Henry Reeve" Cuban medical brigades that served in Baku during the most difficult moments of Covid-19.

During the meeting, the parties reaffirmed the decision to strengthen the development of concrete actions that will enable mutually advantageous cooperation in the field of health for the peoples of Azerbaijan and Cuba.

The main directions of cooperation between the two countries are aimed at medical care, academic and scientific exchange, as well as biotechnology and pharmaceuticals.
