A test run of the Ferry "Perseverancia" with passengers on board will take place, which will include a trip from Nueva Gerona to Batabanó (at 00:00 hrs) and a return trip, that same day, from Batabanó to Nueva Gerona (at 10:00 hrs).
Nueva Gerona, July 16 (RHC)-- On Thursday, July 20th, a test run of the Ferry "Perseverancia" with passengers on board will take place, which will include a trip from Nueva Gerona to Batabanó (at 00:00 hrs) and a return trip, that same day, from Batabanó to Nueva Gerona (at 10:00 hrs).
Tickets will be on sale as of Monday, July 17th, at the usual schedules of the ticket sales agencies and Viajando apk.

Check-in begins: 8:30 p.m. on July 19.
Check-in closes: 22:40 hours on July 19
Departure: 00:00 hours on July 20

Havana - Batabanó - Nueva Gerona

The provisional fare will be $200.00 CUP and customers will be allowed to carry one small piece of hand luggage in the passenger cabin and up to two additional pieces of luggage with a limit of 20 kg each.
On this trial trip, spaces for 25 cars will be marketed at a price of 650.00 CUP each. The price of the reservation of the means of transportation does not include the value of the driver's ticket or that of the other passengers.
The corresponding reservations for the transfer of the carload will be commercialized, for this test, only in the Viajero agencies located in Avenida Factor between Tulipán and Conill in the municipality of Plaza de la Revolución; Calzada de 10 de octubre and Concepción in the municipality of 10 de Octubre and the agency of Nueva Gerona in Isla de la Juventud.
The test trip will be aimed at evaluating different operational aspects, among which are the measurement of embarkation and disembarkation times of passengers and roll-on/roll-off cargo, cleaning and preparation time of the vessel between both operations, as well as passenger check-in time.
