Meliá chain hotel will be inaugurated during celebrations in Trinidad, in Cuba

Havana, Cuba, Jan 13 (RHC) The inauguration of the Meliá Trinidad Peninsula hotel, one of the most modern in Cuba, will take place during the celebrations for the 510 years of the heritage town.

An edition of the Mesa Redonda program was held this Friday at the Centrovisión Yayabo studios and was attended by Deivy Pérez, member of the Central Committee of the Cuban Communist Party and first secretary in the province of Sancti Spíritus, Governor Alexis Lorente and the highest authorities of Trinidad.

Yordanis Fernández, delegate of the Ministry of Tourism in the province of Sancti Spíritus, where the city of Trinidad is located, assured that the modern five-star hotel, on the Ancón Peninsula, changes the matrix of tourism development in Trinidad and the entire province.

He also referred to the renovation carried out in all the accommodation and service facilities, especially by the Palmares Extrahotel Branch, as well as the opening of the Pequeñines del Turismo children's house, the first in the country that benefits female workers.

According to the delegate, the Trinidad destination is strong in the chain, and has strengths in cultural and heritage tourism and its population. (Source: PL)
