Sahrawi News Agency appreciate Cuba's support for the independence of the Sahrawi people

Havana, April 1 (RHC) The Sahrawi News Agency (SNA) in a letter released in Algiers today thanked the Cuban government and the news agency Prensa Latina for their support for the struggle of the Sahrawi people for independence.

In his message, the director of the SNA, Saleh Nafee Abeid, valued Cuba’s support to all the peoples who fight for their freedom.

He also thanked the letter of greeting sent by Luis Enrique González, President of Prensa Latina, on the occasion of celebrating the 25th anniversary of the founding of the SNA.

On March 29, González, on behalf of his group, expressed the desire to continue consolidating work ties and cooperation with the SNA. Through a letter, he sent congratulations to the SNA and highlighted that both agencies have always been on the same path.

Abeid also expressed, on behalf of his group and people of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic, the firm condemnation of the US blockade of the Caribbean nation.

Likewise, he reaffirmed the will to consolidate the collaboration between the SNA and Prensa Latina, and in particular on the Voices of the Global South platform, which became a stage for the Saharawi press medium to disseminate its messages and information. (Source: PL)
