Cuba convenes 2024 Meteorology Convention
Havana, April 25 (RHC) The Cuban Meteorological Society convened its international Convention to debate on the Sciences of the Atmosphere, which will take place from May 27 to 31 in Havana at the Tryp Habana Libre hotel.
The event will bring together researchers, professionals, officials, teachers, students, and specialists related to meteorology and climatology to analyze the impact of extreme hydrometeorological phenomena.
This edition includes the 12th Cuban Congress of Meteorology, the 5th national meeting on the history of that branch, 2nd Tropical Cyclone Congress “Benito Viñes Marturell, in memoriam”.
The Congress on pollution and atmospheric chemistry, the Climatology Congress, as well as the second Symposium on agroecology and resilience to climate change will also take place.
The participants will also talk about Marine Meteorology, Weather Forecasting and Aeronautical Meteorology. (Source: PL)
