On August 6, Norway submitted a written opinion to the Pre-Trial Chamber of the International Criminal Court in The Hague, stating that there is no legal obstacle to issuing arrest warrants for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Gallan

Havana, Aug. 9 (RHC) Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez today rejected Israel's decision to expel Norwegian diplomats accredited to the Palestinian National Authority from its territory.

"Israel is acting outside international law and is trying to torpedo global efforts to recognize the State of Palestine," the Foreign Minister denounced in his report in X.

This Thursday, the Tel Aviv authorities withdrew the accreditation of eight Norwegian diplomats who maintained contacts with the Palestinian Authority, claiming that they had engaged in "anti-Israeli and unilateral" activities.

According to a report by the pan-Arab Al Mayadeen channel, the move is in fact a response to the Norwegian government's official recognition of the Palestinian state last May, as well as the growing criticism by senior officials of this European nation regarding the Israeli offensive against the Gaza Strip.
