Cuba congratulates Olympic Champion Mijaín López on his birthday

Havana, Aug. 20 (RHC) Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel congratulated today through his X account, Olympic champion Mijaín López on his birthday.

"For the five Olympic gold medals for the homeland that made him one of the legends of Paris 2024, and for the dedication, dignity and commitment of a true athlete, proud to wear the uniform of the four-letter team. Once again, congratulations, champion," wrote the president on the social network.

Also, the president of the National Assembly of People's Power of Cuba, Parliament, Esteban Lazo, congratulated the five-time Olympic champion and deputy of the National Assembly on his birthday.

"Congratulations on his birthday to our five-time Olympic champion Mijaín López, who with his athletic talent, dedication, commitment and loyalty has given immense joy to the Cuban people..." wrote the president of the Parliament on the same digital platform. (Sources: X)
