Sana'a, October 15 (RHC-SABA) -- Yemen and Cuba signed in the Yemenite capital Sana'a an agreement on mutual visa exemption.
The agreement, which was signed by Undersecretary of Foreign Ministry for political affairs Hamid al-Awadi and the Cuban ambassador to Yemen David Paulovich, includes the exemption of entry visas for holders of diplomatic, official, special and important passports.
During the signing ceremony, al-Awadi hailed the bilateral relations between Yemen and Cuba, expressing his hope that the agreement would facilitate exchanging of delegation visits and strengthening the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries during the coming period, especially in the medical field.
For his part, the Cuban ambassador affirmed the Cuban government's keenness to boost bilateral cooperation with Yemen in the future.
