Paris, April 22 (RHC) -- Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez described as "extremely fruitful" his recently concluded visit to France, as part of a tour of several European countries.
Rodriguez met on Monday, April 20th, with French Minister of Finance and Public Accounts, Michel Sapinm, with whom he discussed the development of bilateral economic-trade relations.
The Cuban Foreign Minister was also welcomed by President François Hollande, who expressed Paris' willingness to advance bilateral relations.
In that sense, Hollande is to pay an official visit to Cuba later in May, the first ever by a French head of state. Preparations for the visit were discussed by the Cuban top diplomat and his French counterpart, Laurent Fabius, who also spoke against the unilateral economic blockade imposed on Cuba by the government of the United States.
