Havana, May 7 (RHC) –- The renowned pianist and professor Alicia Perea passed away this Wednesday at the age of 80, the Union of Artists and Writers of Cuba reported.
A National Artistic Education Award winner, Perea was born on May 24, 1934. She was regarded as one of the top figures in Cuban musical education, who defined the educational and professional practices of several generations of artists.
