Havana, June 10 (RHC)-- Portuguese Secretary of State for Food and Agricultural Research, Nuno Vieira e Brito, is paying an official visit to Cuba on Wednesday to promote bilateral commercial relations between the two countries.
The Portuguese official is being accompanied by representatives of 10 agribusiness companies, who will meet with Cuban government officials.
The agenda also includes the signing of a memo of understanding between the agriculture ministries of both countries. The Portuguese delegation includes Amandio Santos, president of PortugalFoods, an association made up of entities in the scientific and technological field.
