Caracas, July 21 (RHC) -– Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro has congratulated Cuba and the United States for the reestablishment of diplomatic relations between both countries and the opening of embassies in their respective capitals.
“Congratulations Raul, congratulations to the peoples of Cuba and the United States. We'll continue to unite under ALBA, making new history. Viva Cuba!,” Maduro tweeted on Monday. In a second tweet, he called on the U.S. to lift its economic blockade of Cuba and end its interference in the region.
