Havana, July 25, (RHC), – Nicaraguan President, Daniel Ortega, sent a message to the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro, and to Cuban President, Raul Castro, marking 26th opf july or National Day of Rebeliousness.

In the letter, Ortega congratulates the Cuban people for the 62nd anniversary this Sunday of the assaults on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes barracks, which mark the beginning of the revolutionary struggle led by Fidel Castro that culminated in the triumph of January 1st 1959.

Celebrations for the date in Cuba are underway, and the main commemorative ceremony will be held early morning on Sunday in the heroic city of Santiago de Cuba.
