Havana, October 16 (RHC)-- The International Meeting for Inter- religious Dialogue and World Peace got underway today in Havana with the objective of contributing to unity and fraternity.
Organizers of the event told reporters that during the conference, which will run until Sunday, the 18th, participants will discuss the different ways that religious denominations and groups of faith work in communities and nations toward the creation of a peaceful world.
On Friday, the first day of the gathering in Havana, delegates are analyzing the fight against terrorism, the goals and challenges of women in religion, and the alternative of inter-religious dialogue as a way of peaceful action.
The event was organized by the Platform for Inter-religious Dialogue in Cuba, founded in 2011.
