The director of the Biodiversity and Conservation Center with the American Museum of National History, Ana Luz Porzecanski, said that the US team has carried out this kind of initiatives since 2013 in order to study natural history and discover new animal species in exceptional sites, such as the Alejandro de Humboldt Park, a large National Park in eastern Cuba.
