Havana, October 22 (RHC)-- South Africa's Vice President Cyril Ramaphosa began Thursday an official visit to Cuba.
Vice President Ramaphosa arrived in Havana Wednesday evening, heading a large delegation of South African business executives, who were scheduled to met Thursday with executives of Cuban companies to discuss bilateral business and trade prospects.
According to sources of the Cuban Chamber of Commerce, the South African delegation, made up of executives from sectors like telecommunications, health, tourism, mining, the industry, is interested in developing contacts with Cuban companies and banking institutions.
The South African vice president and his accompanying delegation, who will stay in Cuba until Monday, October 26th, will also participate in a Business Forum, which will hold sessions over the weekend at the headquarters of the Cuban Ministry for Foreign Trade and Investment.
