Havana, November 28 (RHC)-- Authorities with the Cuban Friendship Institute (ICAP) reiterated Cuba's unwavering support for the inalienable right of the Palestinian people to have an independent and sovereign state.

During a solidarity ceremony held at the headquarters of the Cuban Arab Association, Orlaida Cabrera Gutiérrez, Director of the Africa and Middle East Division at ICAP demanded an end to constant aggressions by Tel Aviv and its western allies against the Palestinian people. The official with the Cuban NGO also demanded that the UN Security Council honor and abide by the numerous UN resolutions on the issue.

Palestinian Ambassador in Cuba, Akram Samhan was on hand. He thanked the Cuban government and peoples for their strong support and solidarity over many decades.
