Havana, February 24, 2016.- A meeting of US and Cuban authorities from the area of cybersecurity ended in Havana this Tuesday, February 23. The discussions, which addressed the potential to increase existing bilateral cooperation on the subject, were held in a professional and respectful climate.
The Cuban and US delegations were made up by representatives of the Ministries of the Interior and Foreign Affairs, and the Departments of Homeland Security, State and Justice, respectively.
Both sides agreed on the importance of advancing in their cooperation and the necessity to sign bilateral agreements on the issue, and decided to continue their work in technical meetings to be held in the future alternating venues.
