Havana, Mar 1 (RHC)  Cuban President Raul Castro reaffirmed his will to further brace the bonds of solidarity and cooperation between the governments and peoples of Cuba and the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic.

In a note on Granma daily's front page, President Raul sends his congratulations to President Mohammed Abdelaziz, on the 40th anniversary of the proclamation of the Arab Republic, on February 27th.

Also, Cuban Council of States Vice President, Salvador Valdes Mesa, welcomed in Havana Omar Manssur, special envoy of President Mohammed Adbelaziz, and minister for Latin America and the Caribbean, who conveyed a message from Abdelaziz to the Cuban Head of State.

Granma reports that the talks unfolded in a friendly environment and the visitor thanked Cuba for its cooperation along these years, while Valdes Mesa reaffirmed solidarity with the cause of the Sahrawi people.
