Havana, March 15 (RHC-PL), --  Cuba will present appealing offers at the Salon Mondial du Tourisme-International, the main fair to promote tourism in France that will be held from March 17th to 20th. According to the Ministry of Tourism (Mintur), the expectations for this meeting are high given the many scheduled meetings and the tourism boom in Cuba.

"A special goal for 2016 is the promotion of tourism in areas other than Havana, mainly at the beaches", Mintur sources have said.

The 41st event of Le Monde a Paris (MAP) will be held at the Exhibition Hall, in Versailles, Near Paris, with a large and varied foreign presence.

According to Mintur, the French market prevails as one of the main sources of tourism in Cuba. So far this year 37,463 French tourists have visited the country, a 38.6% increase compared to 2015.
