Havana, June 7 (RHC)-- President Raúl Castro presided over the main activity in Havana, marking the 55th anniversary of the Interior Ministry (MININT).
Participants dedicated the event to Revolution leader Fidel Castro on his 80th birthday this year, as well as to the 60th anniversaries of the landing of the Granma yacht and of Cuba's Revolutionary Armed Forces (FAR). The ceremony also served to pay tribute to MININT combatants killed in the course of their duties over the past 55 years.
