Our Che and the world

"Che Comandante, amigo." This is how the National Poet of Cuba, Nicolás Guillén, titled and described Ernesto Guevara, the Argentinean-Cuban guerrilla fighter who united his destiny to the struggle for the true and definitive independence of our homeland.
The Heroic Guerrilla was not only a friend of the Cubans, but a member of this people, in whom he left an indelible mark and who today pays homage to this man of universal stature on a new anniversary of his physical disappearance in Bolivian lands.
Che, as a troubadour also said, left his endearing presence on Cuban soil, where he not only fought, but also worked for that revolution of the humble and for the humble.
He shared for some years and from different responsibilities the work of this people to build a more just and inclusive society.
Experts agree that in addition to his intense work, one of the essential aspects of Che's contribution to the Cuban Revolution was undoubtedly his economic thinking, in which he pointed out that along with the generation of wealth and its distribution, education and awareness were important.
His commentment was great to the revolution that he defended before the world in international tribunes, in which he made known the aggressive actions of the United States.
Still, 60 years later, his voice is heard in the Uruguayan city of Punta del Este when he denounced at the OAS, Organization of American States, Washington's attempts to isolate Cuba and its neocolonial plans aimed at Latin America.
A speech of great relevance when the United States promotes destabilizing actions against the largest island of the Antilles and has not changed its strategy against the continent, combining economic promises with threats and overt or covert aggressions.
But,} this man of strong convictions, who acted as he thought, is not only from Argentina, Cuba and Bolivia. Che belongs to the world, especially to our America.
He is in every just cause that is fought in favor of the poor, of the dispossessed, who see in the figure of the Heroic Guerrilla the example, but also the strength to fight for their rights.
Guillén expressed it clearly and beautifully in his poem. The Heroic Guerrilla is everywhere, in the Indian, in the Black, in the terrible helplessness of the banana, in the sugar, in the salt and in the coffee trees.
Che was a man of action, a model of an honest revolutionary, austere and tireless fighter. He was an indispensable man of all times.
