Syrians trying to flee the country

While many in the world are still trying to digest the events that led to the fall of Bashar al Assad's government in Syria, as well as how this event will affect the Middle East region, some countries are already beginning to make their moves.

One of the first was the Zionist state of Israel, which, not being short of time or lazy, took advantage of the power vacuum in Damascus to do something it could not even try to do in the last 50 years, such as sending troops and armored vehicles from the Golan Heights to the Syrian territory.

In this regard, Tel Aviv said that the army's entry into the demilitarized zone of Syria is temporary and is intended to ensure the security of the borders, an argument that is not at all credible.

This is exactly the excuse used by the Zionist regime every time it occupies the Palestinian territories, which led it to steal almost an entire country under the unflinching eyes of international organizations and to expel or annihilate its citizens, as it is doing now in the Gaza Strip.

Some Arab countries, such as Egypt, Qatar and Iraq, immediately condemned this action, which violates numerous laws and agreements.

These governments pointed out that the Zionist troop movement is a clear aggression against the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Syria, in addition to the violation of the separation agreement between the two countries signed in 1974.

Undoubtedly, Israel is playing to steal more neighboring territory, something in which it has always had the unconditional support of its main ally, the United States.

But this is not the only thing that is happening, as it happens that several countries of the European Union have decided to suspend the processing of refugee applications from Syrian citizens, who, after the fall of Damascus, are now in a migratory limbo, since many of them cannot return to their country.

One of the first countries to apply this measure was Germany, which is home to nearly one million Syrians, about 650,000 of whom have been declared eligible for asylum or special migration status.

Sweden, Denmark and Norway have announced similar measures, and all indications are that France will join the group in the next few hours.

In Austria, the situation is even more drastic, as not only are the already approved cases being reviewed one by one, but a massive expulsion program is being prepared.

Undoubtedly, new developments will soon take place in a country that is rich in energy resources and that whets the appetite of many.
