A tribute to the Cuban singer-songwriter Pablo Milanés, performed by artists from the Cuban province of Granma, as part of the activities dedicated to Cuban Culture Day.

Several generations came together at the Bayamo Theatre to sing his songs and make each note of this creator vibrate.

Yolanda, Canto a la Abuela, Yo no te Pido, El breve espacio en que no está and De que callada manera were some of the songs presented to the audience.

Soloists such as Arys Rodríguez, Alex de Jesús, Luis Milanés and Samantha Sanfiel, along with actress Yudexys de la Torre and actor Ruslan Domínguez, paid tribute to one of the founders of the Nueva Trova movement.

They were joined by dance students from the Manuel Muñoz Cedeño School of Professional Arts, musicians from the catalogue of the Empresa Provincial de la Música y los Espectáculos Singo Garay and 10-year-old Lincon Jefferson.

The soloist Kenia Sánchez, members of the group Ébano and the Professional Choir of Bayamo, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary, also took part.

At the end of the tribute, the Vice Minister for Culture, Lizette Martínez Luzardo, congratulated the people of Granma on the activities they had prepared and urged them to keep Cuban culture alive.

During the tribute paid to Pablo Milanés by Bayamo artists, it was emphasized that this creator will remain in the hearts of his public and that this island will always await Pablo with infinite respect and love.
