Renowned international ballet dancers performed at Havana’s Grand Theater this Saturday in a unique dance show.
Fragments of classics, such as La Sylphide, Giselle, Don Quixote, Sleeping Beauty, Le Corsair, Swan Lake and Flames of Paris, plus a selection of contemporary pieces and the world premiere of the choreographic piece Painting Greys made up the program of the Royalty Ballet Gala.
The theater’s stage welcomed stars, such as Ivan Vasiliev, Iana Salenko, Mathew Golding, Rodrigo Almarales, Joseph Gatti, Daniil Simkin, Jurgita Dronina, Misa Kuranaga, Maria Kochetkova, Semyon Chudin, Adiarys Almeida and Carlo Di Lanno.
The talented dancers come from different international companies, including the American Ballet Theater, Boston and San Francisco Ballet in the United States; the Bolshoi, Mariinsky and Mikhailovsky Ballet companies in Russia; the Royal and English National Ballets in the UK; the Sttatesballet Berlin in Germany and la Scala of Milano from Italy.
