Havana, October 11 (RHC)-- The 25th Ibero-American Culture Festival 2019, will be held October 24th through the 30th in the eastern province of Holguin.
The event’s program was presented earlier this week at Havana’s Tryp Habana Libre Hotel. It includes conferences, exhibitions, concerts and workshops on Ibero-American culture, identity and traditions.
Organized by the Casa de Iberoamérica and the Holguin Provincial Culture Office, the festival will gather more than 160 artists, researchers and intellectuals from 16 countries, including Haiti, United States, Peru, Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, Cuba and others.
First held in 1993 on the initiative of then Cuban Culture Minister, the late Armando Hart Davalos, the Ibero-American Culture Festival promotes exchanges of experiences and solidarity among nations and peoples in the area.
