The contemporary ballet company Endedans celebrates its 12th anniversary this weekend with the world premiere of By Friction by renowned Danish choreographer, Jens Bjerregaard, at the Principal Theater in Camagüey.
Based in the central eastern province of Camagüey, Endedans is run by Cuban choreographer Tanya Vergara. On his premiere piece, the choreographer, trained in London’s Laban Center, said that friction is responsible for many things, including change, fire, walking, proximity and love.
