Laritza Bacallao presents latest album 'Que Hablen'
Havana, May 19 (RHC)-- Cuban singer Laritza Bacallao has just released her second dance music album entitled ‘Que hablen’. It is her first musical production under Puntilla Music label.
Laritza is this year celebrating 25 years of artistic life, during which she has garnered several awards on the island as well as abroad.
In 2015, the Cuban artist was nominated to Premios Juventud, presented by the television network Univision, in the category of Best New Artist.
Laritza Bacallao has toured extensively in the United States and around the world, delighting big audiences in Europe, Mexico and the Caribbean with her art.
In Cuba, she has collaborated with other exponents of popular and urban music, like Paulo FG, Cándido Fabré, JG and Osmani García, among others. She has also participated in the Boleros de Oro Festivals, dedicated to bolero music.
More recently, she joined other Cuban musicians in recording the tune “Cubanidad”, written by singer-songwriter Raúl Torres with musical arrangements by Michel Herrera. Other participating artists include Tania Pantoja, Raúl Torres himself, Robertón, singer of Los Van Van, and Ronald, singer of Explosión rumbera.
On March 20th last, Laritza Bacallao gave a concert online entitled ‘Por la Salud y la Vida’ (For Health and Life’, which has garnered more than 12 thousand views and likes on YouTube.
The artist is convinced that this new album ‘Que hablen’ will be well received by Cuban music lovers. She added that this is just the beginning, as she is now working on new projects that will see the light later this year.
