Havana, July 1 (RHC)-- ‘Andar La Habana tras la ruta de Eusebio Leal’ is the proposal of the 21st edition this year of the Rutas y Andares Summer Cultural Project prepared by the Cultural Heritage Division attached to the Havana Historian’s Office.
Set for July 5th through August 29, the program will develop on social networks due to the complex epidemiological situation in Cuba generated by the Covid-19 pandemic. It includes the launching of books and other publications dealing with the life and work of Cuban intellectual Eusebio Leal Spengler, workshops on the most diverse artistic disciplines, musical recitals and virtual visits to museums and other sites of cultural and historical interest in the capital, like the Capitol building and the Morro-Cabaña complex
Katia Cárdenas, director of Cultural Management with the Havana Historian’s Office said activities will be streamed on a network of 38 social network channels of museums, cultural centers, libraries and other socio-cultural projects.
Created in 2000 at the initiative of Eusebio Leal, the Rutas y Andares summer initiative encourages holidaymakers to learn more about the history of Havana through family visits to museums and places of historical and cultural interest.
