Let Cuba Live

Havana, July 28 (RHC)-- The virtual exhibition ‘Let Cuba Live’ was inaugurated and is available on the website of Tricontinental --the Institute for Social Research.

It comprises 100 works by 80 artists, including notable cartoonists and designers from 19 countries. All of the works spread messages in support of Cuba and its Revolution against the anti-Cuba crusade launched from the United States in Washington’s continued attempt to destroy the Revolution.

With the hashtags #UnblockCuba #LetCubaLive, the solidarity with Cuba exhibition demands the lifting of the decades-long US blockade, whose effects have only deepened during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Imposed and maintained by consecutive US administrations for nearly six decades, the US blockade has caused Cuba US$147.8 billion in economic damage. Its impact affects everyday life on the island, with acute shortages of food and medicines, a drop in tourism-related activities and a fierce slander and misinformation campaign –all of which seek to generate social discontent and chaos toward destroying the Revolution from within.
