Havana, August 5 (RHC)-- Cuban singer-songwriter and tres guitar player Enid Rosales has just released a music video for her tune “Súper Mario”, based on the platform game series created by Nintendo --a Japanese multinational consumer electronics and video game company headquartered in Kyoto.
Released under Colibrí label, the new animated music video tells a funny story, mixing images from the famous video game and the studio recording of the theme, for which Enid, a professor at Cuba’s Higher Institute of the Arts, had the collaboration of several renowned musicians.
In the music video, directed by Leandro de la Rosa, the fictional character plays the part of an opportunistic public figure, who takes advantage of other people.
The new music video, created amidst Covid-19, is in the framework of actions by Enid Rosales to celebrate 20 years of artistic life.
‘Super Mario’ and its accompanying music video will be included in the artist’s latest musical production –a children’s music album with tunes she has written over the past four years.
Guest artists include Liuba María Hevia, Erick Sánchez, Duo Karma, and De Corazón group, among others.
Enid Rosales has remained very active despite the current pandemic, offering her art on social networks and on Cuban radio and television.
