Havana, June 4 (RHC)-- The Amanecer trio, an outstanding Cuban musical formation playing lute, guitar and piano, will perform this Sunday at the 'Ignacio Cervantes' concert hall, located in Havana's Paseo del Prado.
Accompanied by their guests, lutenists Rosalia Mosqueda and Guajiro Miranda, and guitarist Yalit Gonzalez, the group will offer a concert featuring country music and Cuban prints.
With an outstanding career in Cuba and abroad, the trio is formed by lutenist Efraín Amador, pianist Doris Oropesa and guitarist Ariadna Amador, who masterfully interpret a wide repertoire, which also includes sonatas and adagios.
The Amanecer trio deftly handles their technique with dynamic instruments and during their career they have conducted research on Cuban folk and popular music, which has allowed them to create compositions, most of which have won awards.
Its members are teachers of these instruments in the artistic schools of the capital and its director, Efraín Amador, is the head of the tres and lute department of the University of the Arts.
