Havana, June 14 (RHC)-- The Cuban Cinematheque, the French Embassy and the Color Café project propose the event 'Cinema dresses in fashion', which begins this Wednesday in Havana and will last until June 18.

The event offers a sample of the link between cinematography, costume design designed for cinema and fashion, and the film selection includes films that represent milestones in the history of the seventh art.

The feature films will be shown at La Rampa, 23 and 12 cinemas and the Cinemateca de Cuba's Patio, where films such as 'My Fair Lady', directed by George Cukor in 1964, which is outstanding for its esthetic and cultural significance, are scheduled to be shown.

For the inauguration of the event, at the La Rampa cinema, the Color Café brand organized a fashion show with the dance presence of 'Mi Compañía', directed by Susana Pous, and surprise guests from Cuban cinema.

For a week, screenings in several Havana cinemas will be followed by meetings with professionals and fashion designers.

On social networks, the Cinemateca de Cuba offers details about this cinematic catwalk at La Rampa and 23 and 12 cinemas, in the capital's El Vedado neighborhood.
