Havana, September 19 (RHC) -- The National Theater of Cuba will open its doors this September 24 to welcome the National Symphony Orchestra and soprano Johana Simón in concert, an invitation that lovers of cultured music are grateful for today.
The Covarrubias Hall of the institution plans to delight with a program that includes Overture and aria "Una voce poco fa" from the opera The Barber of Seville, by Gioacchino Antonio Rossini, and Aria "Sempre libera" from the opera La Traviata, by Giuseppe Verdi, both in the voice of Simón.
Meanwhile, the young trumpet player and orchestra conductor Igor Corcuera will conduct the Symphony No. 3 in F major, opus 90 by Johannes Brahms (Source: PL).
