Istanbul, February 15 (RHC)-- Turkish rock star Haluk Levent will hold a benefit concert for Gaza and the occupied West Bank in Istanbul at the end of April.  Levent made the announcement during a meeting at the UN where he said all proceeds will go towards OCHA’s Humanitarian Fund for Gaza and the West Bank.

“If we act together, we can achieve so much more.  I encourage my fellow singers worldwide to join me in supporting those in need, particularly in Gaza,” Levent said in a post on social media.

The musician has a long history of supporting just causes, including raising money for aid and helping to coordinate recovery efforts in the wake of the 2023 catastrophic earthquakes that rocked Turkiye and killed more than 50,000 people.
